In this episode, I talk to Amanda Moore, another American mother in Rome, as we unravel our feelings and thoughts during the early days of Italy’s strict lockdown. fuck your breath: part i

friday, november 6, 2020

In this episode, part I of a two part series on Police Brutality and White Childhood, I share my essay “Fuck Your Breath,” which was published last month in Leaping Clear. In the next episode, I will share a conversation about this essay, which examines how I understood police brutality as a young, white child, and how I understand it now, as well as what that might mean for parents of white children today.

You can read the full essay here.
